Participation in the CPR training is not mandatory, but highly recommended. If you are interested in this training, please R.S.V.P. to Gina Musser at gmusser1@yahoo.com immediately. We must let the CPR instructor know how many people will be participating by no later than March 9th, so your R.S.V.P. is ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY.

RCIA—THE SCRUTINIES

Next weekend at the 5:00 Saturday Mass (March 14) we will celebrate the First Scrutiny for Gary Wiant and Heather Fuller, who are preparing for initiation at the Easter Vigil. The following week, at the 9:00 Mass (March 22), we will celebrate the Second Scrutiny, and on March 29 at the 11:00 Mass, the Third Scrutiny.  During the scrutinies, we pray that God will heal all that is weak or sinful in the hearts of our candidates, and strengthen all that is upright and good. Because our entire community is called to journey with the candidates through the Lenten season, we urge you to prepare for the celebration of the scrutinies in a personal way by discerning what in your own life needs to be freed from sin's bondage. Join with all in our community who turn to Jesus for freedom from sin and protection from all evil.
