NOTE OF THANKS FROM ST. PAT

How could I ever express my gratitude to each of you who have held me in your prayer and concern since my Oct 9 "4-foot fall off the cellar stairs" and then subsequent shoulder surgery on Nov4? Despite the extent of multiple injuries, I am coming along. After spending considerable time at our Motherhouse infirmary, I am now at home.  Physical therapy will probably begin close to Christmas.

I will primarily be working from home and will arrange for rides to come to the parish according to my stamina.  I am starting to build up computer endurance.  Driving, piano, flute and directing will emerge gradually…however, my mouth still works fine!  You may contact me at home at 412-635-0338 or e-mail patbakercdp@saintscholastica.com

I appreciate Fr. Ken and the staff who have been so gracious and caring during this time.  And most of all, I am grateful to Thom Bercik who has given generously of his time, talent and energy to keep the music program running smoothly in my absence.

There have been countless blessings in this challenging time for me...I consider you, my fellow parishioners, to be one of the dearest ways God is providing for me!  I am so privileged to be held in your love and care.   Know that you have a permanent place in my heart……. Sr. Pat Baker
