AQUINAS GUILD
The Aquinas Guild is pleased to announce that Sister Catherine Higgins, CSJ, a sister of St. Joseph from Baden, will speak on, "Offering the Gift of Presence-an invitation to live each moment fully aware of God's life in us, in all around us", on Wednesday, March 23rdat 10:00 am in the Pastoral Center. IT'S NOT TOO LATE!
You can still sign up for this season of our Bible study, "Israel's Story."  Groups meet on Tuesday evenings and regular sessions begin this week.  We are surveying the story line of the Old Testament, and looking more closely at some of the high points. INTERSECTION
All students in grades 8-12 are invited to a special Intersection on Theology of the Body for Teens March 27th10-11am in the ministry center.  Light breakfast provided.

APPALACHIA TRIP
Last Date to sign up for Appalachia is March 29th. All interested participants should attend the March 29th meeting at 730 in the pastoral center.

STATIONS OF THE CROSS
Stations of the Cross are on Friday evenings in Lent at 7:00pm (no Stations on Good Friday evening).

THE ABCs OF CATHOLIC ANNULMENTS
If you are divorced or in a second marriage and would like an overview of annulments, please attend this session on Monday, March 28,at 7:30 p.m. in the Pastoral Center.  Fr. Ken White will talk about the annulment process and how to take the first steps.  If you know someone who might benefit from this information, please invite him or her to attend and offer to come along for support.

CORRECTION
Confessions will be available at 7:00 p.m. on March 24th at St. Edward Parish, Blawnox, after a 6:30 p.m. mass.  The time listed in our Lenten events flyer is incorrect.

2011 MASS INTENTIONS
Mass Intentions are still available for 2011.  Special requests will be considered for 25th or 50th Wedding Anniversary Masses requested during the regularly scheduled Mass times.  The donation for Masses, as mandated by the Diocese, remains at $10.00 each. ALTAR FLOWER ARRANGEMENTS
As you know, during Lent we have no flower arrangements in the sanctuary. However, during the Easter season and summer we always have a flower arrangement in front of the altar. If you would like to honor someone (birthday, wedding anniversary, date of death, etc.) a donation of $50.00 or more will dedicate the altar arrangement for that person.  Also, we will publish that person's name in the bulletin for that week. APPRECIATION BRUNCH
The Parish Appreciation Brunch will be held on April 3rdat 12:30 at the Pittsburgh Field Club.  Invitations have been mailed.  If you did not receive an invitation and are currently a volunteer in the parish, please contact Mary Ellen Maher at 412-767-5863.  We paid for a number of "no-shows" last year, so please cancel your reservation if you find that you cannot attend the brunch.  RSVP's are due to Kathy Jerich by March 28th.

INVITE SOMEONE HOME
Do you know someone—a neighbor, friend, or family member—who is no longer practicing her or his Catholic faith?  Please consider inviting the person to our "Come Home for Lent and Easter" session this Monday, March 21, at 7:30 p.m. in the Pastoral Center, and offer to come along.  At the session, participants will have an opportunity to be heard about their relationship with the Church and to decide whether they would like to explore renewing their faith journey within the Catholic community.

    St. Joseph Parish has Sat. reconciliation from 3:30-4:00.
    Madonna of Jerusalem has reconciliation on Wednesday evening from 5:30-6:45 and Saturday from 3:00-4:00 p.m..
