The Appalachia Mission Trip Spaghetti Dinner will take place on Sunday, March 3, from 5:00-7:00pm in the CDTCA cafeteria (3rd Street entrance). The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children; ages 3 and under are free.  Take out is available. Come and support our Youth Ministry’s mission trip to West Virginia! Adult volunteers still needed and welcome.

Young Adult Ministry: Calling all 20-35 year olds interested in building a better relationship with the Lord. The Lower Allegheny Valley Catholic Grouping is seeking to build a Young Adult Ministry. If you are interested please contact Meredith Troyan.

ENDOW is an educational program for Catholic women to grow in knowledge of their faith and understanding of who we are in God's eyes. St. Joseph Parish will offer Discover Your Dignity: A Woman's Journey Through Life on Wednesdays from 7:00-8:30pm, March 13 through May 1. To register go to endowgroups.org. Children’s T-Ball: Children ages 4-7 are invited to join the St. Joseph Spring T-Ball program held on Wednesdays from 5:30-6:30pm, April 3 through May 15. The cost is $25. Registration forms are available on the St. Joseph Parish website under Downloads.

St. Juan Diego Parish’s annual Saint Anthony Novena will begin on Tuesday, March 19, with Mass in Madonna of Jerusalem Church at 6:30pm followed by the recitation of the Novena prayers. The Novena will continue for thirteen weeks, with the closing Mass being celebrated on Tuesday, June 11. All are welcome!

A.R.M. will offer an opportunity for reflection hosted by Fr. Michael at 2:00pm Sunday, March 10, at St. Scholastica Church. The afternoon will include scripture readings, a rosary for recovery, and a reflection on the “Grace of Desperation”. All are welcome.

Bereavement Ministry Outreach: Sr. Pat will be hosting a meeting on Monday, March 4, at 7:00pm in the parish hall for all current Bereavement Ministers and any additional parishioners who would like to explore ways to reach out to those who face loss and grief in our parish.  If interested but unable to attend, contact Sr. Pat.

"Living in the Spirit" is a group of adults supporting each other and sharing resources for spiritual growth. We meet monthly. The next session is Thursday, February 28, at 7:30pm in the Ministry Center Library. There is no need to register for this group--just join us!

Stations of the Cross: The Aquinas Guild of St. Scholastica invites all women to pray the Stations of the Cross during Lent on Fridays at noon at St. Scholastica Church. We will use “Mary’s Way of the Cross” by Richard Furey.  Books will be available in the church.

Join us for a Mardi Gras Luncheon!  All women of the parish grouping are invited to attend a luncheon to celebrate Mardi Gras on Tuesday, March 5, at the Cornerstone Restaurant in Aspinwall beginning at 11:30am. Lenten Study: Join us during Lent and Easter as we read and reflect on Pope Francis’ exhortation Gaudete and Exsultate (“Rejoice and Be Glad.”) We will meet on six Wednesdays, March 20 through May 1 (no meeting on April 17) either at 10:45am-12:15pm in the St. Scholastica Ministry Center library, OR 7:30-9:00pm at St. Joseph Parish (room TBD). Please register with Andrew Bechman by March 11 by email or voicemail (include your name and session preference) We request a $10 donation for materials and refreshments, payable at the first session.

The Sexual Abuse Crisis: A Time of Reckoning for our Church  A reckoning may be a time when people are held accountable for their misdeeds. To reckon can also mean to figure, to believe, or to discern. Join us for a four-part series in which we will attempt to orient ourselves within this crisis for our Church community. How did we get here? What changes does this situation call for? What am I being called to do—myself or with others? We will meet on four Thursday evenings, March 21 & 28, and April 4 & 11,  7:30-9:00 p.m. in the St. Scholastica Parish Hall. CDTCA is currently accepting registrations for the 2019 -2020 school year. If you’re considering our school for preschool – 8th grade, please call the school office at (412) 781-7927 to schedule a visit.

     Larger donations in bags (NOT boxes) and ALL clothing may be brought to the SIDE DOOR of 316 3rd Street, Aspinwall, from 10am-12noon on Mondays and Fridays. Please do NOT leave any donations outside 316 or 318 Third Street.

     Our Aquinas Guild appreciates your donations to the local Saint Vincent de Paul Food Pantry.  Your donations of  macaroni and cheese, spaghetti sauce and pasta — and any non-perishable items — are most welcome.  Please put donations in the red bin in the church’s main entrance. Please contact the parish office if you or your neighbors ever need confidential help from our parish’s Saint Vincent de Paul Society.

The St. Vincent De Paul Society is seeking volunteers to assist in taking the veterans to Mass at the local VA Hospital on Sundays between 10 and 11am. Your service can be flexible based on your schedule. Please call (412) 781-0186 ext. 22 or email stvincentdepaul@saintscholastica.com.
